WORM QUARTET PLAYS A FREAKIN' SCI-FI CONVENTION IN INDIANA WITH A BUNCH OF OTHER DEMENTIA PEOPLE

September 28th, 2003
@ 2BEContinued, Merrillville, IN
This was a really nifty time. I got to hang out and perform with fellow dementia artists The Great Luke Ski, Sudden Death, Tony Goldmark, and Eric Coleman. Most of the performances, unfortunately, took place in a really tiny comedy club located in an almost-inaccessible part of the hotel, and thus the audiences tended to be tiny. Still a very fun time, though.

(All photos from the final day of the con, and taken by DJ "Blasted Bill" Putt, including the one he's in thanks to the magic of camera timers. Hopefully I'll get some more pics from this show soon, since many were taken.)

Me performing my solo set in my Donkey Kong shirt, which at the moment is relatively sweatless.

Luke Ski joined me onstage to play the part of Frank in "Frank's Not In The Band Anymore." And look, that's Tony Goldmark watching us! Oooooo!!

"Frank" has now lost an arm. Later in the set, Luke shoved the drumsticks up his nose and did an excellent job of swinging his head around with them in there. He must have practiced!

Devo Spice of Sudden Death, Tony Goldmark, Me, and Luke Ski. How much dementia can you fit in one huge open area in an incredibly-expensive hotel with an indoor lagoon-like setting?

Same group 'o' people plus the ever-existant DJ "Blasted Bill" Putt and his supremely bitchin' hat!
